Milpitas, California - ServGate Technologies, Inc. has a new Internet security appliance gateway designed specifically for the needs of telecommunters and remote office workers.

Designated the SG100, it is an integrated firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN) Internet security appliance designed to provide remote access secure corporate networks via DSL or ISDN connections, which often require the same level of Firewall and VPN protection as if they were behind the corporate firewall.

It features a stateful-inspection firewall, IPSec VPN with DES and 3DES encryption, as well as a DHCP client and server.
