Andes Networks released a new line of SSL acceleration appliances. The PSSL Web Security Accelerator can be deployed in either a transparent in-line mode or transparent one-armed mode where a single port is used for both ingress and egress traffic. Using one-armed mode, several PSSL systems can be clustered to provide tens of thousands of SSL connections per second and wire-speed encryption processing for multiple 10/100 Ethernet segments.
