NewMonics PERCs Up Accelerated's RTOS

Lisle, Il --- Targeting the tougher requirements of small footprint embedded iAppliances in hard real time and deterministic applications in industry, the newest version of PERC Java Virtual Machine from NewMonics Inc. has been ported to Accelerated Technology Inc.'s Nucleus RTOS.

PERC is a Java-compliant virtual machine expressly made for complex embedded applications such as those in the network infrastructure, telematics and industrial automation. It is supported by a suite of development tools including compilers, debuggers, linkers and libraries for Intel and Power PC microprocessors. Mobile, Ala.-based Accelerated Technology, now a part of Embedded Systems Division of Mentor Graphics is the provider of a non-royalty based RTOS with open access to its source code.
