AXCESS introduced its new video server appliance, LANconnect-S, which joins the MM Series of Transmitters and LANconnect in AXCESS' Prism Video line of streaming digital video transmitters. The LANconnect-S is a low-cost digital video network appliance that streams video and audio over LANs, WANs, and the Internet. The LANconnect-S transmits from dual CCTV sources and allows up to 8 simultaneous clients to access it via Web browsers, viewing software, or handheld devices.
The LANconnect-S supports multiple video and audio CODECs simultaneously with on-board intelligence processing.
The LANconnect-S includes:
LAN Interface: 1 - RJ-45 CAT 5 connector auto-sensing 10/100 base-T digital Ethernet interface
Video Input: 1 - 75 ohm BNC analog video output. 1Vp-p NTSC/PAL
Video Loop Through: 1 - full-time 75 ohm BNC analog video output. 1Vp-p composite video
Control Ports: 1 - RS-232 DB-9 pass through port
1 - RS-422/485 RJ-11 connector
