Palms Get E-Mail Attachments

SkipWire has introduced SkipStream Services, a subscription that gives Palm users the capability to convert PC-based e-mail attachments into Palm-viewable files. SkipWire's servers can handle file formats such as PDFs, images, text, and presentations that can be downloaded or uploaded with the common conversion to and from the Palm file format.

Palm users can sign up for a SkipWire account, and a beta version of SkipStream Services through www.skipwire.com. Beta users receive a free month of SkipStream Service. Through this service, and in conjunction with popular e-mail applications, users can download converted e-mail attachments and view them on their palm PDAs.
