This thin profile entry level Pocket PC 2002 PDA is targeted toward value seeking consumers. The e310 comes with all the basic components of the Pocket PC 2002 platform including the home screen, address book, calendar, task manager, calculator, Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket Outlook, Pocket Internet Explorer, the Microsoft Reader, and the Media Player for Pocket PC. Toshiba also preloads Adobe's Acrobat Reader for the Pocket PC. Inside the e310 is a Intel StrongARM 206MHZ processor supported by 32MB of SDRAM and 32MB of flash memory. It comes with a USB Cradle, an IRDA port, built-in speaker, microphone, and headphone jack. On the front of the unit it has 4 navigation buttons for the personal information management (PIM) functions: the calendar, tasks, home screen and the address book. Below the PIM naviagtional buttons is a circular navigational control for moving the curser up, down, left or right and selection. On the left side is scroll control and record button. Toshiba's Pocket PC products support Secure Digital (SD cards) for memory and option expansion. The display on the e310 is indoor/outdoor 3.5", 320x240 pixel, 64K color (16bit), TFT touch-display controlled by MediaQ's graphics controller using 256K of video RAM.
